Template Details
Lumen Lite is a static website template for studios or agencies, written in plain HTML, CSS and vanilla JavaScript with no framework or build tool dependencies. The repository contains three pages: a home page (with hero, client marquee, services, selected work, pricing preview, testimonials and CTA sections), a contact page (form layout, office information, social links) and a 404 page. The navigation and in-page links to the remaining seven pages point to the online demo, so the local template has no dead links, but the full-version content requires viewing the demo or purchasing the full template. Styles are centralized in css/style.css, with design tokens (colors, corner radii, page width) defined in :root; js/main.js is about 2.5 KB and handles the mobile menu, theme toggle and scroll reveal. The template follows the system theme by default and can be overridden with a toggle button; the choice is saved in localStorage under the lumen-th key. The responsive layout adapts from 360px width, the navigation collapses into a dropdown menu, and grids become single-column. Accessibility includes semantic landmarks, visible focus states, aria-labels on icon buttons, and respect for prefers-reduced-motion in scroll-reveal animations. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts (Syne, Hanken Grotesk and JetBrains Mono), which is the only external request, and every font stack has a system fallback. The contact form is layout only; you must set the action yourself to point to a backend or form service. Browser support covers current desktop and mobile versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. The license is MIT. The README does not document performance, production readiness or implementation details of the full version.

Getting started & customization
Use these recorded setup notes alongside the repository instructions for your chosen version.
- 1

- 2
If the browser blocks local files, run python -m http.server 8000 in the project directory to start a local server
- 3
The contact form is layout only; set action to your own backend or form service
- 4
To remove the Google Fonts request, delete the three link tags in each page's head and adjust the font variables, or self-host the font files
- 5
The full template contains 10 pages; this repository is the free lite version, and links to the remaining pages point to the online demo
License & source material
Usage conditions & limitations
Free to use · keep license noticeThis listing covers the free version in the public repository, which is under the MIT license; the free scope is that version's code and does not mean external services or third-party assets are free.
Must comply with when using
- The code of this version may be used, modified, used commercially and distributed free of charge.
- When distributing copies or substantial portions of the code, the original author's copyright notice and the full MIT license notice must be retained.
- The code is provided as is; warranties and limitations of liability are governed by the original license and applicable law.
Additional costs & items to verify
- Demo images, fonts, icons and other third-party assets must be checked against their own licenses; the code's MIT license alone is not sufficient to judge them.
- External services such as domains, hosting, databases, payments or AI may incur separate charges.
- The free repository contains only the home page, contact page and 404 page; the navigation and links to the remaining seven pages point to the online demo, and the full page content requires viewing the demo or purchasing the full template.
- This repository is the free cut; the full 10-page template is a separate paid product.
- The full Lumen Studio version costs 19 USD (Payhip link).
- Customization services (copy, branding, content, a working contact form or a CMS) are paid services quoted per project.
- The template's only external request is Google Fonts loading the Syne, Hanken Grotesk and JetBrains Mono fonts; offline, it falls back to system fonts.
- The copy, client names and testimonials are placeholder content for a fictional studio; the contact form is layout only and you must configure action yourself to point to a backend or form service.

How this score is calculated
Our heuristic uses license records (up to 30), a demo link (12), a preview (10), stars (15), recorded maintenance (15), description completeness (8), feature records (5) and classification data (5). It is not a code, security or performance test, or a Google score. A link does not establish tested functionality.

A demo link is listed. Check it with your own content and viewport sizes; its presence does not confirm that forms, authentication or payments work.
The catalog identifies HTML as the primary stack. Check the actual dependency manifest and lockfile for versions and hosting requirements. These notes use recorded metadata, not a code audit or a deployment test.

Source file / repository# Lumen Lite — agency website template, no framework
A studio / agency website in plain HTML, CSS and vanilla JavaScript. Open `index.html` and it runs — no npm install, no bundler, no Bootstrap, no Tailwind, no jQuery.

**[Live demo — all 10 pages](https://lumen-studio-template.netlify.app)** · light and dark
---
## What's in here
| Page | |
|---|---|
| `index.html` | Home — hero, client marquee, services, selected work, pricing teaser, testimonials, CTA |
| `contact.html` | Contact — form layout, office details, social links |
| `404.html` | Not found |
The nav and in-page links to the other seven pages point at the live demo, so nothing dead-ends — you can see exactly what the full template contains before deciding.

---
## Quick start
```bash
git clone https://github.com/Anatolii198/lumen-lite.git
cd lumen-lite
```
Open `index.html`. That's the whole setup.
If your browser blocks local files, serve the folder:
```bash
python -m http.server 8000
```
---
## How it's built
**One stylesheet, one script.** `css/style.css` holds everything, with design tokens at the top. `js/main.js` is 2.5 KB and does three things: the mobile menu, the theme toggle, and reveal-on-scroll.
**Tokens, not magic numbers.** Colours, radius and page width live in `:root`:
```css
:root{
--paper:#fbfaf9; --panel:#ffffff; --ink:#14140f; --muted:#6c6a62;
--line:#e8e5df; --accent:#ff4d2e;
--r:18px; --wrap:1200px;
}
```
Change `--accent` and the whole site re-skins.
**Light and dark, both designed.** The dark palette is its own set of values, not a filter inversion. It follows the system setting by default, the toggle overrides it, and the choice is remembered in `localStorage` under `lumen-th`.
**Responsive** from 360 px up — the nav collapses to a slide-down menu, grids reflow to one column.
**Accessible defaults:** semantic landmarks, visible focus states, `aria-label` on icon buttons, and `prefers-reduced-motion` respected in the reveal animation.
---
## One dependency, named honestly
The type is **Syne**, **Hanken Grotesk** and **JetBrains Mono**, loaded from Google Fonts. That's the only external request the template makes. Every font stack has a system fallback, so the pages still work without it — they just look plainer.
To cut it entirely: delete the three `<link>` tags in each `<head>` and set `--disp` / `--sans` / `--mono` to system fonts, or self-host the files.
