Template Details

Blast is an Astro theme hosted on GitHub, described in its repository as a blue theme for business, marketing, SaaS, and startup websites. The template is built with Astro, Tailwind CSS, and Alpine.js, uses static site generation (SSG), and includes multilingual support, light and dark modes, and client-side routing. The project contains more than 7 pages and over 17 blocks, and provides security-related configurations such as Content Security Policy enabled by default and automatic sha256 hashing for inline scripts and styles. On the development side, it includes Vitest unit tests, Prettier formatting, and TypeScript configuration. The contact form relies on Basin, and spam protection relies on Cloudflare Turnstile; both require configuration through environment variables.

Regarding usage limitations, the template requires Node.js 22 or higher and assumes users have a basic understanding of Astro, HTML, and CSS. Licenses for third-party assets such as demo images, fonts, and icons must be verified separately; the code's MIT license does not cover these assets. Basin and Cloudflare Turnstile are external services and may incur additional costs. The repository does not provide further information about performance, production readiness, or specific business features, and this introduction makes no inferences about them.

Usage conditions & limitations

Free to use · keep license notice

This entry covers the free MIT version in the public repository; the free scope applies to that version's code and does not mean external services or third-party assets are free.

Must comply with when using

  • When using, modifying, or distributing the code, retain the original author's copyright notice and the full MIT license.
  • Free use, modification, and commercial use are permitted, as is distribution of the code; distribution must still include the copyright and license notice.
  • The code is provided as is, and the author does not promise warranties or accept liability for use.

Additional costs & items to verify

  • Using this template requires Node.js 22 or higher; lower versions cannot run it.
  • The contact form relies on the external Basin service, requiring an account and configuration of the BASIN_FORM_ID environment variable, and may incur additional costs.
  • Spam protection relies on the external Cloudflare Turnstile service, requiring configuration of the TURNSTILE_SITEKEY environment variable.
  • Demo images, fonts, icons, and other third-party assets must be verified under their respective licenses and cannot be judged solely by the code's MIT license.
  • External services such as domain, hosting, database, payment, or AI may incur separate charges.

How this score is calculated

Our heuristic uses license records (up to 30), a demo link (12), a preview (10), stars (15), recorded maintenance (15), description completeness (8), feature records (5) and classification data (5). It is not a code, security or performance test, or a Google score. A link does not establish tested functionality.

A demo link is listed. Check it with your own content and viewport sizes; its presence does not confirm that forms, authentication or payments work.

The catalog identifies Astro as the primary stack. Check the actual dependency manifest and lockfile for versions and hosting requirements. These notes use recorded metadata, not a code audit or a deployment test.
