01

25 routed pages covering common admin scenarios such as authentication, dashboards, charts, tables, forms, inbox, file management, invoices, and billing

Template Details

This is an admin dashboard template built with Vue 3's `<script setup>` syntax and TypeScript, with styling provided by Bootstrap 5 compiled from Sass. The repository is one of five implementations of the same Bootstrap admin layout, sharing the same 25 pages and visual style with React, Angular, Laravel Blade, and static HTML versions.

The template covers a fairly complete set of admin scenarios: authentication pages such as login, registration, forgot password, and reset password; dashboard, charts, forms, data tables, component directory, advanced UI, typography, integrations, profile, pricing, settings, inbox, file management, gallery, invoice, billing, documentation, maintenance, coming soon, and 404 pages. Authentication and data are mocked in Pinia stores, so the entire application runs without a backend.

For theming, `app.scss` overrides Sass variables (primary color, status colors, fonts, border radius, etc.) before importing Bootstrap, while runtime design tokens are declared as CSS custom properties. Dark mode switches the `--tx-` token values via a class on the root element. Internationalization includes English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese, detects the browser language on first load, and the top switcher remembers the user's choice. The build uses Vite and provides installability and offline caching via `vite-plugin-pwa`.

Limitations to note: data and login state are mocked; the template itself contains no backend, database, or real API. Third-party assets such as demo images, fonts, and icons must be checked separately under their respective licenses. The repository provides no information on testing, deployment, or production environments.

VueHTMLBackend

Is it right for your project?

Use Cases

  • Need a backend-free demo admin interface prototype or frontend scaffold
  • Prepare a starter page set including login, dashboard, tables, and forms for a Vue 3 project
  • Need an admin interface with light/dark theme switching and multilingual support
  • Compare how the same admin layout is implemented across different frontend stacks

Suitable For

  • Frontend developers building admin interfaces with Vue 3 and Bootstrap
  • Teams needing to quickly scaffold admin page skeletons and connect their own backend APIs
  • Admin projects requiring multilingual support and dark mode
  • Individuals or small teams evaluating a free MIT-licensed admin template

Getting started & customization

Use these recorded setup notes alongside the repository instructions for your chosen version.

  1. 1

    Requires Node.js 18 or higher and npm

  2. 2

    Run npm install to install dependencies, and npm run dev to start the development server with hot reload

  3. 3

    Demo accounts are [email protected] / admin123 and [email protected] / user123; authentication is mocked in Pinia stores

  4. 4

    npm run build runs TypeScript checks first and outputs to dist/; use npm run preview for local preview

  5. 5

    When replacing brand colors, update both the Sass variable $primary and the brand color scale in CSS custom properties to keep them consistent

Usage conditions & limitations

Free to use · keep license notice

This entry covers the free version under the MIT license in the public repository; the free scope applies to that version's code and does not imply that external services or third-party assets are free.

Must comply with when using

  • You may use, modify, commercialize, and distribute this version's code for free.
  • When distributing copies or substantial portions of the code, retain the original author's copyright notice and the full MIT license notice.
  • The code is provided as is; warranties and limitations of liability are governed by the original license and applicable law.

Additional costs & items to verify

  • Authentication and data are mocked; the template contains no backend, database, or real API. Connecting to actual business logic requires implementing the server side yourself.
  • The project also offers a paid template directory; this repository itself is a free MIT template, but paid products exist on the same site, so distinguish between them.
  • Donations are voluntary and do not affect free use under the MIT license.
  • Demo images, fonts, icons, and other third-party assets must be checked under their respective licenses; the code's MIT license alone cannot be used to judge them.
  • External services such as domains, hosting, databases, payments, or AI may incur separate charges.

How this score is calculated

Our heuristic uses license records (up to 30), a demo link (12), a preview (10), stars (15), recorded maintenance (15), description completeness (8), feature records (5) and classification data (5). It is not a code, security or performance test, or a Google score. A link does not establish tested functionality.

A demo link is listed. Check it with your own content and viewport sizes; its presence does not confirm that forms, authentication or payments work.

The catalog identifies Vue as the primary stack. Check the actual dependency manifest and lockfile for versions and hosting requirements. These notes use recorded metadata, not a code audit or a deployment test.

Bootstrap Admin / Vue 3 is the Vue 3 implementation of the Bootstrap admin layout: 5 sibling templates share the same 25 screens and the same visual identity, one per stack. This one is built with Vue 3.5 with `<script setup>`, styled with Bootstrap 5.3 compiled from Sass. Authentication and data are mocked, so the whole application runs without a backend. It ships with a light and a dark theme, three languages and an installable PWA setup.

## Requirements

- Node.js 18 or newer
- npm

## Getting started

```bash
npm install
npm run dev
```

Vite starts a dev server with hot reload. Authentication is simulated in the Pinia auth store, so no backend is needed. Demo credentials:

- `[email protected]` / `admin123`
- `[email protected]` / `user123`

## Build for production

```bash
npm run build
```

Runs the TypeScript check and writes the production bundle to `dist/`. Preview it locally with `npm run preview`.

## Theming and customization

`src/assets/styles/app.scss` overrides the Bootstrap Sass variables before `@import "bootstrap/scss/bootstrap"`: `$primary` (#465fff), the state colors, `$font-family-sans-serif` (Outfit), the radius scale and `$enable-shadows: false`. Below that sit the runtime design tokens, declared as CSS custom properties: the brand ramp (`--color-brand-25` through `--color-brand-950`, with 500 as the primary #465fff), the state colors, and semantic surface tokens under the `--tx-` prefix (sidebar, header, card, border, text). Dark mode swaps the `--tx-` values at runtime, driven by a class on the root element. To rebrand the template, change the brand ramp and the `--tx-` values together. Changing `$primary` recompiles the framework components; changing the brand ramp updates everything driven by tokens, so keep the two in sync.

## Internationalization

Three locales ship with the template: English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. The browser language is detected on first load and the header switcher persists the user choice.
