Template Details

This is a site theme redesigned from the official Jekyll minima theme, simplified by the author according to personal preferences, for building blog and resume websites. The theme includes four types of pages: blog, project, about, and 404. Both blog and project offer list views, detail views, and pagination. Styling is based on Tailwind, with light/dark mode switching and responsive layout. A GitHub Pages deployment workflow is provided in the repository.

Before use, Node and Ruby environments are required locally: first clone the repository, install dependencies according to package.json using your preferred Node package manager, then install jekyll and bundler and run bundle install, and finally build or start the development server via scripts in package.json.

Customization methods include: placing woff2 font files into /assets/fonts/ and modifying references in /_includes/head.html; adjusting the Tailwind color palette in tailwind.config.js; modifying site information such as name, email, description, baseurl in _config.yml. The theme code is under MIT license, but third-party assets such as demo images, fonts, and icons need to be checked separately under their respective licenses. The README notes that the cat avatar image is sourced from dreamstime.com.

How this score is calculated

Our heuristic uses license records (up to 30), a demo link (12), a preview (10), stars (15), recorded maintenance (15), description completeness (8), feature records (5) and classification data (5). It is not a code, security or performance test, or a Google score. A link does not establish tested functionality.

A demo link is listed. Check it with your own content and viewport sizes; its presence does not confirm that forms, authentication or payments work.

The catalog identifies Jekyll as the primary stack. Check the actual dependency manifest and lockfile for versions and hosting requirements. These notes use recorded metadata, not a code audit or a deployment test.
