Template Details
Multidash is an open-source template for admin interfaces. The code is released under the MIT license, and the repository uses a Turborepo monorepo structure: apps/demo is the Next.js dashboard application, packages/ui provides shared components and theme tokens, and packages/typescript-config provides shared tsconfig presets.
Pages cover overview (KPI cards, revenue area chart, orders bar chart, recent orders, traffic sources), tables (basic, standard, and advanced tables based on TanStack Table with sorting, faceted filtering, column visibility, selection, and pagination), forms (profile and notification settings layouts), UI elements (live examples, source code, and installation steps for each component), typography, pricing (plan cards, feature comparison, FAQ, and Pro waitlist form), and login/register interfaces.
The component layer provides 25 UI components based on Radix UI primitives, located in @multidash/ui, which can be imported and used individually. Charts use Recharts with a colorblind-friendly sequence and include tooltips and data tables for screen readers. The theme supports light, dark, and system modes. The mobile sidebar is a drawer, and interactions include keyboard navigation, ARIA labels, and reduced motion support.
Note that the free version includes only the pages and basic components described above. Analytics, e-commerce, CRM, SaaS, and finance dashboards; kanban, calendar, chat, inbox, and invoice applications; usable authentication and role permissions; database layer; payment integration; internationalization; data table export and server-side pagination; Figma files; and priority support are part of paid Multidash Pro and are not included in this repository. The demo data in the repository is mock data. The waitlist form can collect submissions via Resend or a custom JSON webhook, and the related environment variables are optional.
Is it right for your project?
Use Cases
- Building a dashboard shell and sidebar layout for a Next.js admin project
- Reusing components such as buttons, tables, and charts from @multidash/ui in an existing application
- Referencing its light/dark theme tokens and colorblind-friendly chart palette
- Using it as an implementation reference for data tables (sorting, filtering, pagination) and form settings pages
- Using it for demos or prototypes that need login/register interfaces and a pricing page
Suitable For
- Teams building admin interfaces with Next.js and React
- Front-end projects that need a reusable UI component library and theme tokens
- Developers who want to quickly obtain dashboard page structure and interaction references
- Users who accept the MIT license and need to retain the copyright and license notice
Getting started & customization
Use these recorded setup notes alongside the repository instructions for your chosen version.
- 1
Requires Node.js 20+ and pnpm; enable pnpm with corepack enable pnpm
- 2
After cloning the repository, run pnpm install, then run pnpm dev to start the development server, accessible by default at http://localhost:3000
- 3
pnpm build is used for production builds, and pnpm typecheck is used for type checking across all packages
- 4
All environment variables are optional: NEXT_PUBLIC_SITE_URL is used for Open Graph and canonical links; RESEND_API_KEY, RESEND_SEGMENT_ID, or WAITLIST_WEBHOOK_URL are used to collect the waitlist. You can copy apps/demo/.env.example to apps/demo/.env.local
- 5
To change brand colors, modify --primary in packages/ui/src/styles/globals.css; the chart colors --chart-1 through --chart-5 are a validated colorblind-friendly sequence, and it is recommended to keep the order when replacing hues

Usage conditions & limitations
Free to use · keep license noticeThis entry covers the free version in the public repository under the MIT license; the free scope applies to this version's code and does not mean external services or third-party assets are free.
Must comply with when using
- You may use, modify, commercialize, and distribute this version's code for free.
- When distributing copies or substantial portions of the code, retain the original author's copyright notice and the full MIT license notice.
- The code is provided as is; warranties and limitations of liability are governed by the original license and applicable law.
Additional costs & items to verify
- Demo images, fonts, icons, and other third-party assets must be checked against their respective licenses and cannot be judged solely by the code's MIT license.
- External services such as domains, hosting, databases, payments, or AI may incur separate charges.
- The free version includes only the basic dashboard and basic UI components. Analytics, e-commerce, CRM, SaaS, and finance dashboards; kanban, calendar, chat, inbox, and invoice applications; usable authentication and role permissions; database layer; payment integration; internationalization; data table export and server-side pagination; Figma files; and priority support are all part of paid Multidash Pro and are not included in the free scope.
- If the waitlist form uses Resend to store contacts, you need to configure RESEND_API_KEY and RESEND_SEGMENT_ID and rely on Resend as an external service; when not using this feature, all environment variables are optional.
- The waitlist can also be changed to send to a custom JSON webhook, and you must provide and maintain that external endpoint yourself; this is an optional configuration and does not affect the template's operation if not configured.

How this score is calculated
Our heuristic uses license records (up to 30), a demo link (12), a preview (10), stars (15), recorded maintenance (15), description completeness (8), feature records (5) and classification data (5). It is not a code, security or performance test, or a Google score. A link does not establish tested functionality.

A demo link is listed. Check it with your own content and viewport sizes; its presence does not confirm that forms, authentication or payments work.
The catalog identifies Next.js as the primary stack. Check the actual dependency manifest and lockfile for versions and hosting requirements. These notes use recorded metadata, not a code audit or a deployment test.

## 🎨 Customization
Set your own domain in [`apps/demo/lib/site.ts`](apps/demo/lib/site.ts) (`productionUrl`) or via the `NEXT_PUBLIC_SITE_URL` environment variable — it is used for Open Graph and canonical URLs.
All colors live in [`packages/ui/src/styles/globals.css`](packages/ui/src/styles/globals.css). Change `--primary` to rebrand; chart colors (`--chart-1` … `--chart-5`) are a validated colorblind-safe order — keep the order if you swap hues.
Use a component anywhere in the app:
```tsx
import { Button } from "@multidash/ui/components/button"
<Button variant="outline">Click me</Button>
```
