Template Details

This is a course practice project that extends the CoreUI Free React Admin Template with a "Vehicles and Owners" management page. The frontend is built with React and Vite, and the data layer connects to Supabase through @supabase/supabase-js. The page supports searching by license plate, brand, model, color, owner, or email, pagination at 10 records per page, and displays loading states and error messages. Adding and editing use the same form modal, with validation for license plate, ID number, year, institutional email, and required fields; a confirmation dialog appears before deletion. Buttons are disabled during operations, and results are shown via toast notifications. The project includes two SQL scripts for creating the vehiculos, puestos, and registros_estacionamiento tables in Supabase and inserting sample data, while enabling read-only RLS on the vehiculos table and separately granting INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE permissions to the anon role. The README clearly states that this exercise does not include authentication, that write operations are open to anyone holding the publishable key, and that it is suitable only for teaching purposes and should not be used directly in a production environment.

ReactAdmin panel

Is it right for your project?

Use Cases

  • A course exercise for learning how to implement admin CRUD with React and Supabase
  • Demonstrating a data management interface with search, pagination, and form validation
  • Serving as a starting reference for a vehicle registration admin panel that needs to connect to Supabase

Suitable For

  • Students or beginners learning React admin development
  • Developers who need Supabase CRUD example code
  • Frontend developers who want to quickly build a data management page based on the CoreUI template

Getting started & customization

Use these recorded setup notes alongside the repository instructions for your chosen version.

  1. 1

    Create .env.local in the project root and fill in VITE_SUPABASE_URL and VITE_SUPABASE_PUBLISHABLE_KEY

  2. 2

    In the Supabase SQL Editor, run sql/supabase_parqueadero_uteq.sql and sql/supabase_crud_permisos.sql in order

  3. 3

    After running npm install, run npm start and visit http://localhost:3000/#/parqueadero/vehiculos

  4. 4

    The project does not include authentication; write operations are open to anyone holding the publishable key, so do not use it directly in a production environment

Usage conditions & limitations

Free to use · keep license notice

This entry covers the free version in the public repository under the MIT license; the free scope applies to that version's code and does not mean that external services or third-party assets are free.

Must comply with when using

  • The code in this version may be used, modified, used commercially, and distributed free of charge.
  • When distributing copies or substantial portions of the code, retain the original author's copyright notice and the full MIT license notice.
  • The code is provided as is; warranties and limitations of liability are governed by the original license and applicable law.

Additional costs & items to verify

  • The project does not implement authentication, and Supabase write policies (INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE) are open to anyone holding the publishable key; it is suitable only for teaching exercises and should not be used directly in a production environment.
  • The README explicitly requires that it not be used in a production environment in its current state with no authentication and open write permissions; authentication and restrictive policies must be added separately.
  • Before use, you must create a project in Supabase and run the two SQL scripts in order in the SQL Editor to create tables and grant permissions.
  • You must create .env.local yourself and configure VITE_SUPABASE_URL and VITE_SUPABASE_PUBLISHABLE_KEY, depending on an external Supabase service and account.
  • Demo images, fonts, icons, and other third-party assets must be checked against their respective licenses; the code's MIT license alone cannot be used to judge them.
  • External services such as domains, hosting, databases, payments, or AI may incur separate charges.

How this score is calculated

Our heuristic uses license records (up to 30), a demo link (12), a preview (10), stars (15), recorded maintenance (15), description completeness (8), feature records (5) and classification data (5). It is not a code, security or performance test, or a Google score. A link does not establish tested functionality.

No demo link is recorded. Use the repository instructions to evaluate the project locally; the screenshot alone cannot establish interactive behavior.

# UTEQ Smart Parking — Vehículos y propietarios (CRUD)

- React 19 + Vite
- CoreUI Free React Admin Template (`@coreui/react`, `@coreui/icons-react`)
- Supabase JS (`@supabase/supabase-js`)

## Configuración

```dotenv
VITE_SUPABASE_URL=https://TU_PROYECTO.supabase.co
VITE_SUPABASE_PUBLISHABLE_KEY=sb_publishable_TU_CLAVE
```

### 2. Scripts SQL

### 3. Instalar y correr

```bash
npm install
npm start
```

Abre `http://localhost:3000/#/parqueadero/vehiculos`.
