Template Details
SaaS PHP is a Laravel starter kit for subscription products. The README positions it as a starting point for building with a customer app, a Filament admin backend, and a reusable billing foundation. The repository provides a composer create-project installation method and gives steps for local startup based on Laravel Sail, migration, seeding data, installing frontend dependencies, and running the Vite development server; the default access address is http://localhost, the port can be adjusted via APP_PORT in .env, and npm run build is also supported to generate a production-style frontend build. The tech stack listed in the README includes PHP 8.3+, Laravel, Filament, React, Inertia.js, Tailwind CSS, and Pest/PHPUnit, and it lists common commands for testing, viewing logs, and listening to queues. The README does not explain the specific implementation of the billing module, supported payment channels, subscription plan management details, permission model, or deployment process; these need to be checked in the docs/ directory or other repository materials.

How this score is calculated
Our heuristic uses license records (up to 30), a demo link (12), a preview (10), stars (15), recorded maintenance (15), description completeness (8), feature records (5) and classification data (5). It is not a code, security or performance test, or a Google score. A link does not establish tested functionality.
What to verify for this project
- Repository update recorded
- 2026-09-03
- Screenshot last checked
- 2026-10-13
A demo link is listed. Check it with your own content and viewport sizes; its presence does not confirm that forms, authentication or payments work.
The catalog identifies Laravel as the primary stack. Check the actual dependency manifest and lockfile for versions and hosting requirements. These notes use recorded metadata, not a code audit or a deployment test.

## Installation
```bash
composer create-project saasphp/saasphp saasphp
```
## Local Setup
After installation:
```bash
cd saasphp
./vendor/bin/sail up -d
./vendor/bin/sail artisan migrate
./vendor/bin/sail artisan db:seed
./vendor/bin/sail npm install
./vendor/bin/sail npm run dev
```
The app is available at `http://localhost` by default. Sail maps the web
container to `${APP_PORT:-80}`, so set `APP_PORT` in `.env` if you need a
different host port, for example `APP_PORT=8080`.
For a production-style frontend build instead of the Vite dev server:
```bash
./vendor/bin/sail npm run build
```
## Stack
- PHP 8.3+
- Laravel 13
- Filament 5
- React 19

## Useful Commands
```bash
./vendor/bin/sail artisan test
./vendor/bin/sail artisan pail
./vendor/bin/sail artisan queue:listen --tries=1
```
