Template Details

This is a conceptual hotel website theme named The Lantern & Laurel Inn, aimed at hotel business scenarios in Gettysburg / Adams County. The repository was self-initiated by Ridges & Valleys Studio and is not a commissioned project for a real hotel client, so the content and branding are demonstrative.

Technically, it is a pure HTML static site, with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files stored directly in the repository, with no build step or framework dependencies. The demo site is published via GitHub Pages from the root directory of the main branch and automatically redeploys on push.

The code originates from a copy of the web/app/themes/ridgesandvalleys-theme/concept/gettysburg-hotel/ directory in the matthummel-pa/ridgesandvalleys repository, and future updates are based on this repository. The repository uses the MIT license, allowing free use, modification, and distribution of the code, but third-party assets such as images, fonts, and icons appearing in the demo need to be checked separately for licensing.

How this score is calculated

Our heuristic uses license records (up to 30), a demo link (12), a preview (10), stars (15), recorded maintenance (15), description completeness (8), feature records (5) and classification data (5). It is not a code, security or performance test, or a Google score. A link does not establish tested functionality.

A demo link is listed. Check it with your own content and viewport sizes; its presence does not confirm that forms, authentication or payments work.

The catalog identifies HTML as the primary stack. Check the actual dependency manifest and lockfile for versions and hosting requirements. These notes use recorded metadata, not a code audit or a deployment test.

## Develop

1. Edit the HTML / CSS / JS in this repo (same files as the live demo).
2. Open `index.html` locally, or serve the folder with any static server.
3. Commit and push to `main`. GitHub Pages serves `/` from `main`.

## First-time Pages setup

If the live URL 404s after the first push: **Settings → Pages → Deploy from a branch → `main` / (root)**.
