Template Details

This is a static website template for conferences or events. The repository is nahimsouza/conference-website and is MIT licensed. Pages consist of HTML, CSS (Flexbox layout), and a small amount of JavaScript, with no build tools or frontend frameworks.

The template manages the header and footer centrally in scripts.js, avoiding repetition across every HTML file. To add a page, copy template.html; the header and footer are already in place, and you only need to fill in the main content. The author notes in the README that this approach is not perfect but meets basic needs.

Known limitations: responsive design works, but may need further adjustment on different devices; the repository does not provide specific browser compatibility ranges or performance data. Licenses for third-party assets such as demo images, fonts, and icons must be checked separately and cannot be judged solely by the code's MIT license.

How this score is calculated

Our heuristic uses license records (up to 30), a demo link (12), a preview (10), stars (15), recorded maintenance (15), description completeness (8), feature records (5) and classification data (5). It is not a code, security or performance test, or a Google score. A link does not establish tested functionality.

A demo link is listed. Check it with your own content and viewport sizes; its presence does not confirm that forms, authentication or payments work.

The catalog identifies HTML as the primary stack. Check the actual dependency manifest and lockfile for versions and hosting requirements. These notes use recorded metadata, not a code audit or a deployment test.

# Conference Website Template

A simple static website designed for conferences or events.

[Check the live demo here!](https://nahimsouza.github.io/conference-website).

## For Developers

This template is built with simplicity in mind, the pages were built just with HTML, CSS (Flexbox) and a few lines of JavaScript.

* Header and footer sections are managed on [scripts.js](scripts.js) to avoid duplicating code across HTML files (not the perfect solution, but it gets the job done!).

* To create a new page, just copy [template.html](template.html). It comes with the header and footer already in place, so you only need to fill in the main section.

### Known Issues

The responsive design is functional, but may require additional refinement for better performance across all devices.
