Template Details

ShadyLight is an Astro starter template published on GitHub, and a project can be created with `bunx create-astro@latest shadylight --template Frikadellios/shadylight`. The README describes its directory structure as including `public/`, `src/styles/` (preconfigured CSS files), `src/lib/` (Svelte components), `src/components/` (React and Astro components), `src/pages/` (`.astro` files with style preset previews), and `src/content/docs/` (`.mdx` files containing demo information).

The template uses Bun as its package manager, and the README lists commands such as `bun install`, `bun dev` (local development server at localhost:4321), `bun run build` (output to `./dist/`), `bun run preview`, `bun builder .`, `bun updater .`, and `bun run astro -- --help`. The README does not explain what `bun builder .` and `bun updater .` specifically do, nor does it provide a dependency list, framework versions, deployment steps, or production-readiness details.

How this score is calculated

Our heuristic uses license records (up to 30), a demo link (12), a preview (10), stars (15), recorded maintenance (15), description completeness (8), feature records (5) and classification data (5). It is not a code, security or performance test, or a Google score. A link does not establish tested functionality.

A demo link is listed. Check it with your own content and viewport sizes; its presence does not confirm that forms, authentication or payments work.

The catalog identifies Astro as the primary stack. Check the actual dependency manifest and lockfile for versions and hosting requirements. These notes use recorded metadata, not a code audit or a deployment test.

# Astro Starter Template: ShadyLight

```
## 🚀 Project Structure
Inside of your Astro project, you'll see the following folders and files:
```text
/
├── public/
├── src/
    └── styles/* - with preconfig css files
    └── lib/* - with svelte components
    └── components/* - with react and astro components
    └── pages/*
    │ └── *.astro - with styles presets preview
    └── content/
          └── docs
              └── *.mdx - files with demo info

```
Astro looks for `.astro` or `.md` files in the `src/pages/` directory. Each page is exposed as a route based on its file name.
There's nothing special about `src/components/`, but that's where we like to put any Astro/React/Vue/Svelte/Preact components.
Any static assets, like images, can be placed in the `public/` directory.
