Template Details

This repository gathers DevUI's free and open-source UI templates under the MIT license. It is divided into two parts: AI starters and legacy templates.

The AI starters section contains three templates: AI SaaS Landing, AI Chat, and AI Agent Dashboard. The README states they are built on Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind, and share the @devui/ui design system, with a solid monochrome theme and no gradients. Each template has its own online demo URL and corresponding code directory listed in the README. To run them, execute bun install at the repository root (which links @devui/ui to each template), then enter the specific template directory and run bun run dev. Styles are centralized in packages/ui/tailwind-preset.ts; modifying the color tokens there affects all templates simultaneously. The repository provides a deploy.sh script supporting deployment to Vercel and Cloudflare; see DEPLOY.md for more options.

The legacy templates section consists of the original DevUI templates template-1 through template-13, covering types such as NFT, portfolio, and agency landing pages. Each template is a standalone app and must be run by entering its directory and using yarn and yarn dev.

The repository does not provide a detailed component list or feature description beyond the number of templates; specific capabilities require checking each template directory.

  • When you plan to deploy templates to Vercel or Cloudflare

Suitable For

  • Front-end developers using Next.js and React
  • Teams needing a free, commercially usable UI template starter project

How this score is calculated

Our heuristic uses license records (up to 30), a demo link (12), a preview (10), stars (15), recorded maintenance (15), description completeness (8), feature records (5) and classification data (5). It is not a code, security or performance test, or a Google score. A link does not establish tested functionality.

A demo link is listed. Check it with your own content and viewport sizes; its presence does not confirm that forms, authentication or payments work.

The catalog identifies Next.js as the primary stack. Check the actual dependency manifest and lockfile for versions and hosting requirements. These notes use recorded metadata, not a code audit or a deployment test.

# DevUI Templates

Free, open-source UI templates from [DevUI](https://dev-ui.vercel.app). MIT licensed — use them
in anything.

## AI starters

Modern templates built with **Next.js 14, TypeScript, and Tailwind**, all composed from a
shared `@devui/ui` design system (solid monochrome theme, no gradients). Live demos:

| Template | Live demo | Code |
|----------|-----------|------|
| AI SaaS Landing | https://devui-ai-saas-landing.pages.dev | `templates/ai-saas-landing` |
| AI Chat | https://devui-ai-chat.pages.dev | `templates/ai-chat` |
| AI Agent Dashboard | https://devui-ai-agent-dashboard.pages.dev | `templates/ai-agent-dashboard` |

### Run

```bash
bun install            # from the repo root (links @devui/ui into every template)
cd templates/ai-chat
bun run dev
```

### Restyle everything at once

Colors live in one file: `packages/ui/tailwind-preset.ts`. Change the tokens and every
template updates.

### Deploy to Vercel + Cloudflare

```bash
./deploy.sh ai-chat both      # or: vercel | cf
```

Full options (Netlify, static, full Next.js) are in `DEPLOY.md`.

## Legacy templates

The `template-1` … `template-13` folders are the original DevUI templates (NFT, portfolio,
agency landing pages). Each is a standalone app:

```bash
cd template-1
yarn
yarn dev
```
