Template Details

This is a CV website template built with Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. The pages are responsive, include built-in light and dark themes and print styles, and can generate social preview images. The repository contains fictional sample data; for actual use, replace it with your own content.

Content is centralized in a single file, src/data/resume.ts, which controls the page title, metadata, name, contact information, summary, experience, skills, favicon initial, social preview, and source code link. The resume PDF download is disabled by default; to enable it, place the file at public/resume.pdf and turn it on in the same data file. Colors are defined in src/app/globals.css.

The build output goes to the out/ directory and can be deployed to any static hosting service; the documentation provides two free publishing methods: Cloudflare Pages and GitHub Pages. The repository uses the MIT license, but third-party assets such as demo images, fonts, and icons require separate license verification.

Usage conditions & limitations

Free to use · keep license notice

This entry covers the free version under the MIT license in the public repository; the free scope applies to that version's code and does not imply that external services or third-party assets are free.

Must comply with when using

  • Free use, modification, commercial use, and distribution of this version's code are permitted.
  • When distributing copies or substantial portions of the code, retain the original author's copyright notice and the full MIT license notice.
  • The code is provided as is; warranties and limitations of liability are governed by the original license and applicable law.

Additional costs & items to verify

  • Demo images, fonts, icons, and other third-party assets must be checked against their respective licenses; they cannot be judged solely by the code's MIT license.
  • External services such as domains, hosting, databases, payments, or AI may incur additional charges.

How this score is calculated

Our heuristic uses license records (up to 30), a demo link (12), a preview (10), stars (15), recorded maintenance (15), description completeness (8), feature records (5) and classification data (5). It is not a code, security or performance test, or a Google score. A link does not establish tested functionality.

A demo link is listed. Check it with your own content and viewport sizes; its presence does not confirm that forms, authentication or payments work.

The catalog identifies Next.js as the primary stack. Check the actual dependency manifest and lockfile for versions and hosting requirements. These notes use recorded metadata, not a code audit or a deployment test.

# CV site template

A clean, responsive CV website built with Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. It supports light and dark themes, print styles, generated social preview images, and static hosting.

The included profile is fictional sample content.

Live example: [mshykhov.com](https://mshykhov.com) uses this layout with a real profile. This template includes only the fictional sample.

## Customize it

Edit `src/data/resume.ts`. This one file controls the page title, metadata, name, contacts, summary, experience, skills, favicon initials, social preview, and source link.

The resume download is disabled by default. To enable it:

1. Add your PDF at `public/resume.pdf`.
2. Set `resume.enabled` to `true` in `src/data/resume.ts`.
3. Update the download filename and label in the same file if needed.

Colors live in `src/app/globals.css`.

## Run locally

```bash
npm ci
npm run dev
```

Open [http://localhost:3000](http://localhost:3000).

## Build

```bash
npm test
npm run build
```

The static site is written to `out/` and can be deployed to any static hosting service.

## Publish for free

- [Cloudflare Pages](docs/cloudflare-pages.md): free `pages.dev` address, or connect a domain you own.
- [GitHub Pages](docs/github-pages.md): free `USERNAME.github.io` address from a public repository.

Hosting can be free on either service. A custom domain is optional and has a separate annual registration fee.
