Template Details

This is a Laravel admin starter project whose core purpose is to bring user authentication, role and permission management, and CRUD code generation into a single skeleton. Authentication and authorization use the Cartalyst Sentinel package. The admin panel includes user management, role management, permission assignment (user permissions and role permissions), and a dashboard, while the front end provides user login and registration pages. The project ships with a Datatables Bundle and a CRUD generator that can generate module code via Artisan commands.

The CRUD generator is command-line driven, for example php artisan crud:generate Posts --fields="title:string, body:text", and supports options such as --route, --pk, --view-path, --namespace, and --route-group to control routing, primary key, view directory, and namespace. The README states that the command requires a configured database connection first.

The installation process is: download or clone the repository, install dependencies with Composer (composer dump-autoload and composer install --no-scripts), create a MySQL database with utf8_general_ci collation and configure .env, run php artisan migrate and php artisan db:seed, then access via the public directory or php artisan serve. The default admin account is [email protected] / admin. The README also provides fixes for two common issues: run php artisan key:generate when encountering an encryption key error, and run composer dump-autoload --optimize when the site loads slowly.

The project materials correspond to Laravel 5.4 and Bootstrap 3.x, the interface can optionally use the Gentelella Dashboard, and the repository was last updated in 2018, making it an earlier technology stack; the README also mentions that front-end features will continue to be added later.

How this score is calculated

Our heuristic uses license records (up to 30), a demo link (12), a preview (10), stars (15), recorded maintenance (15), description completeness (8), feature records (5) and classification data (5). It is not a code, security or performance test, or a Google score. A link does not establish tested functionality.

A demo link is listed. Check it with your own content and viewport sizes; its presence does not confirm that forms, authentication or payments work.

The catalog identifies Laravel as the primary stack. Check the actual dependency manifest and lockfile for versions and hosting requirements. These notes use recorded metadata, not a code audit or a deployment test.

<a name="step1"></a>
### Step 1: Get the code - Download the repository
	https://github.com/roladn/laravel-sentinel-crud-starter/archive/master.zip

    OR Clone this repository:
     https://github.com/roladn/laravel-sentinel-crud-starter.git

Extract it in www(or htdocs if you using XAMPP or MAMP) folder and put it for example in laravelStartersite folder.

-----
<a name="step2"></a>
### Step 2: Use Composer to install dependencies

Laravel utilizes [Composer](http://getcomposer.org/) to manage its dependencies. First, download a copy of the composer.phar.
Once you have the PHAR archive, you can either keep it in your local project directory or move to
usr/local/bin to use it globally on your system.
On Windows, you can use the Composer [Windows installer](https://getcomposer.org/Composer-Setup.exe).
Open terminal and go to the project foleder
Then run:

    composer dump-autoload
    composer install --no-scripts

-----
<a name="step3"></a>
### Step 3: Create database

If you finished first three steps, now you can create database on your database server(MySQL). You must create database
with utf-8 collation(uft8_general_ci), to install and application work perfectly.
Just go to the phpmyadmin and create the new database
After that, copy .env.example and rename it as .env and put connection and change default database connection name, only database connection, put name database, database username and password.

-----
<a name="step4"></a>
### Step 4: Install

Now that you have the environment configured, you need to create a database configuration for it. For create database tables use this command:

    php artisan migrate

And to initial populate database use this:

    php artisan db:seed

If you install on your localhost in folder laravelStartersite, you can type on web browser:

	http://localhost/laravelStartersite/public

OR Run the command " php artisan serve ", and open on the browser the url you get in console :):

-----
<a name="step5"></a>
### Step 5: Start Page

You can now login to admin part of Laravel Framework 5.4 Site:

    username: [email protected]
    password: admin

-----
<a name="feature5"></a>
## Troubleshooting

### RuntimeException : No supported encrypter found. The cipher and / or key length are invalid.

    php artisan key:generate

### Site loading very slow

	composer dump-autoload --optimize
OR

    php artisan dump-autoload
