Template Details

This repository is the personal portfolio and cyber-physical engineering showcase of Saptarshi Das (Electrical and Computer Science Engineering). The README explains that it is not a static resume, but an end-to-end interactive 3D WebGL narrative built from scratch with Vanilla CSS, JavaScript, and Three.js: at the center is a rotating Kerr black hole devouring procedural firmware and algorithm source code; users can descend through the event horizon into an information-dense cyber-physical systems command center, closing with a real-time Tokamak magnetic confinement fusion reactor core.

The page contains multiple scroll-driven visual modules: a Kerr black hole with dual relativistic plasma jets, a starfield of 7,000+ multispectral stars that scatter outward and migrate to the left and right edges on scroll, selected engineering systems, a 7-stage engineering case study full-screen overlay, an interactive engineering stack constellation, a chronological build log with credential verification, and a Tokamak fusion reactor and quantum uplink finale.

The README lists four flagship engineering systems (smart grid and AC power monitoring, ESP32 dual-core smart desk clock, multimodal AI interview assistant, Air Whiteboard Pro spatial gesture computing), with each one's domain, hardware, firmware/pipeline, and key metrics. The technical architecture section includes Kerr metric ray marching, relativistic Kepler orbital velocity, relativistic beaming intensity, and Tokamak magnetic confinement equations.

The local development section only provides the beginning of the prerequisites (Node.js); the README is truncated at this point, so complete installation, build, and deployment steps are not given in the available material.

How this score is calculated

Our heuristic uses license records (up to 30), a demo link (12), a preview (10), stars (15), recorded maintenance (15), description completeness (8), feature records (5) and classification data (5). It is not a code, security or performance test, or a Google score. A link does not establish tested functionality.

A demo link is listed. Check it with your own content and viewport sizes; its presence does not confirm that forms, authentication or payments work.

The catalog identifies Astro as the primary stack. Check the actual dependency manifest and lockfile for versions and hosting requirements. These notes use recorded metadata, not a code audit or a deployment test.

## Overview

This repository houses the personal portfolio and cyber-physical engineering showcase of **Saptarshi Das** (Electrical & Computer Science Engineering).

Rather than adopting a static resume format, this project represents an **end-to-end interactive 3D WebGL narrative** built from first principles with **Vanilla CSS, JavaScript, and Three.js**. The experience models the physics of a **spinning Kerr Black Hole** consuming procedural firmware and algorithmic source code, invites the user to dive past the **Event Horizon**, and emerges into an information-dense cyber-physical systems command center before concluding with a real-time **Tokamak Magnetic Confinement Fusion Reactor Core**.

### 02 — Scroll-Driven Starfield Scattering & Side-Margin Framing

As the user scrolls down from the hero:

1. **Dynamic Outward Scatter:** Relativistic shockwaves cause the stars to explode outward radially during mid-scroll.
2. **Side-Margin Migration:** 7,000 stars seamlessly migrate into two luminous columns flanking the left and right edges of the screen ($|X_{ndc}| \in [0.62, 0.98]$), completely clearing the central reading corridor.
3. **Persistent Viewport Anchoring:** Stars remain anchored along the left and right margins throughout all subsequent sections (Identity, Selected Systems, Engineering Stack, Build Log, Achievements, Contact Reactor), gently scintillating as the user scrolls.

| Mid-Scroll Outward Star Scatter | Persistent Side-Margin Framing (Identity Section) |

## Technical Architecture & Mathematical Foundations

### 1. Relativistic Kerr Metric Ray Marching & Code Streams

The central black hole simulates the gravitational lensing and frame-dragging of a rotating Kerr black hole:

$$\Omega = \frac{2aMr}{\rho^4}$$

Code snippets and telemetry strings are instantiated as procedural particle billboards orbiting in an inclined accretion geometry ($i \approx 62^\circ$). Tangential orbital velocity follows relativistic Keplerian mechanics:

$$v_\phi = \sqrt{\frac{GM}{r}} \cdot \frac{1}{\sqrt{1 - \frac{3GM}{rc^2}}}$$

Relativistic beaming modulates color and intensity based on the angle between the emitter's orbital vector and the camera look vector:

$$I_{\text{observed}} = I_0 \cdot \left[\gamma (1 - \beta \cos\theta)\right]^{-3}$$

### 2. Tokamak Magnetic Confinement Equations

The Section 08 reactor simulates 1,400 magnetic flux particles tracing magnetic field lines along a nested torus:

$$ \begin{aligned}
x &= (R + r \cos(v)) \cos(u) \\
y &= (R + r \cos(v)) \sin(u) \\
z &= r \sin(v) + \delta \sin(k \cdot u)
\end{aligned}$$

where $R = 3.6$ is the major radius, $r = 1.35$ is the minor radius, and $q = \frac{du}{dv}$ represents the magnetic safety factor preventing plasma instability.
