# Bootstrap Admin / Laravel

Bootstrap Admin / Laravel is the Laravel implementation of the Bootstrap admin layout: 5 sibling templates share the same 25 screens and the same visual identity, one per stack. This one is built with Laravel 11 and Blade, styled with Bootstrap 5.3 compiled from Sass. Authentication and data are mocked, so the whole application runs without a backend. It ships with a light and a dark theme, three languages and an installable PWA setup.

## Tech stack

- Laravel 11 on PHP 8.2 or newer
- Bootstrap 5.3 compiled from Sass
- Blade templates with layouts, components and slots
- Alpine.js 3.14 with the collapse plugin for client-side behaviour
- Vite 6 through `laravel-vite-plugin` 1.0
- Client-side i18n reading JSON dictionaries from `public/assets/i18n/` (en, es, pt-BR)
- ApexCharts 5 loaded from CDN on the chart pages
- Session-based mock auth with a route middleware
- Installable PWA: web manifest plus an offline-first service worker

## Requirements

- PHP 8.2 or newer
- Composer
- Node.js 18 or newer

No database is needed: auth is mocked and `.env.example` uses the `file` session and cache drivers.

## Getting started

Demo credentials, defined in `app/Support/MockUsers.php`:

## Build for production

Vite writes hashed assets to `public/build/`. Deploy it as any Laravel 11 app, pointing the web server at `public/`.

## Theming and customization

`resources/css/app.scss` overrides the Bootstrap Sass variables before `@import "bootstrap/scss/bootstrap"`: `$primary` (#465fff), the state colors, `$font-family-sans-serif` (Outfit), the radius scale and `$enable-shadows: false`. Below that sit the runtime design tokens, declared as CSS custom properties: the brand ramp (`--color-brand-25` through `--color-brand-950`, with 500 as the primary #465fff), the state colors, and semantic surface tokens under the `--tx-` prefix (sidebar, header, card, border, text). Dark mode swaps the `--tx-` values at runtime, driven by a class on the root element. To rebrand the template, change the brand ramp and the `--tx-` values together. Changing `$primary` recompiles the framework components; changing the brand ramp updates everything driven by tokens, so keep the two in sync.

## Internationalization

Three locales ship in `public/assets/i18n/`: English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. `resources/js/i18n.js` fetches the JSON dictionary, translates every `[data-i18n]` node and stores the choice in `localStorage`. The text written in the Blade views is the fallback, so an untranslated key still renders.
