Template Details

This template is a Nuxt2 application starter, adapted from the default structure generated by Nuxt-CLI. The author states in the README that the goal is to provide a reusable starting point, avoiding repeated configuration each time a new Nuxt2 project is created, and by default it is tuned toward perfect Lighthouse scores.

In terms of implementation, the template disables some Nuxt core features that are enabled by default but not always needed, adds HTTP2 (where conditions permit) and several webpack optimizations to improve first-screen loading performance. All business code is placed under the src/ directory to separate it from configuration. The README lists four types of commands: development, build, production start, and static generation.

It should be noted that the README's Roadmap explicitly lists Lighthouse-CI, Cypress end-to-end testing, i18n, light/dark themes, and accessibility analysis as features not yet added, and the documentation is still incomplete. Therefore, the template currently provides a basic skeleton and build configuration, without the aforementioned extensions. The repository uses the MIT license, allowing free use, modification, commercial use, and distribution, but third-party assets such as demo images, fonts, and icons require separate license verification.

How this score is calculated

Our heuristic uses license records (up to 30), a demo link (12), a preview (10), stars (15), recorded maintenance (15), description completeness (8), feature records (5) and classification data (5). It is not a code, security or performance test, or a Google score. A link does not establish tested functionality.

A demo link is listed. Check it with your own content and viewport sizes; its presence does not confirm that forms, authentication or payments work.

The catalog identifies Nuxt as the primary stack. Check the actual dependency manifest and lockfile for versions and hosting requirements. These notes use recorded metadata, not a code audit or a deployment test.

  <h1>Nuxt2 with 100 Lighthouse score</h1>
</div>

## What

A starting point and reusable Nuxt2 application, based on the one generated by Nuxt-CLI with all settings already setup up, with performance in mind, to achieve a 100% Lighthouse score.

---

## Why

Generating a fresh setup of a Nuxt2 application is always a tedious process and by default, it won't achieve a good Lighthouse score.
This project aims to speed up the process of starting up an application and trying to get a perfect Lighthouse score, with all the main features a medium/large application should have.

---

## How

By setting up some Nuxt configs, removing all the clutter and still having a viable boilerplate.
The goal is to have with every update a perfect 100 Lighthouse score.

## Inspiration

Several articles and repositories inspired me to create this one, but the main goal was to have a starting point, for all my Nuxt apps.
