Template Details

hexo-theme-snark is a theme developed by Litreily for the Hexo static blog engine. The repository describes it as "An hexo theme with lofter style," and the demo site is https://www.litreily.top/. The theme uses Pug templates and Sass styles. Installation requires additionally installing hexo-renderer-pug and hexo-renderer-sass, and disabling Hexo's default code highlighting in the blog configuration.

In terms of features, the theme provides common pages such as archives, categories, tags, and about, and supports local search, Fancybox image viewing, copyright notices, Fontawesome v4.7.0 icons, Baidu Analytics, and two code highlighting options: Google Code Prettify and Highlight.js (default). The comment system currently only supports Valine, and Valine parameters must be filled in the configuration file. RSS, sitemap, and similar features are provided by optional Hexo plugins and are not included in the theme itself.

Usage limitations: The theme depends on Pug and Sass renderers; failure to install them will cause build failures. Comments only support Valine; other comment systems are not mentioned in the README. Local search requires installing the hexo-generator-search plugin. The code is released under the MIT license, allowing free use, modification, commercial use, and distribution, but third-party assets such as demo images, fonts, and icons must be checked against their respective licenses, and external services such as domains and hosting may incur additional charges.

How this score is calculated

Our heuristic uses license records (up to 30), a demo link (12), a preview (10), stars (15), recorded maintenance (15), description completeness (8), feature records (5) and classification data (5). It is not a code, security or performance test, or a Google score. A link does not establish tested functionality.

A demo link is listed. Check it with your own content and viewport sizes; its presence does not confirm that forms, authentication or payments work.

The catalog identifies Hexo as the primary stack. Check the actual dependency manifest and lockfile for versions and hosting requirements. These notes use recorded metadata, not a code audit or a deployment test.
