Template Details
This is a Jekyll theme for a web mapping site template. The repository description reads "A website template for web mapping production powered by Jekyll + Bootstrap + Leaflet", meaning Jekyll generates static pages while the front end combines Bootstrap and Leaflet to display maps. The template is published as a Ruby gem, which can be included via a Gemfile and used after declaring the theme in _config.yml.
The Usage section in the README is still a TODO and does not provide specific details about layouts, includes, Sass, or static assets. Therefore, the confirmable information centers on installation and the development workflow: local development follows the usual Jekyll site process, running bundle install and then bundle exec jekyll serve to preview at localhost:4000; for publishing, only the Git-tracked _layouts, _includes, _sass, and assets directories are packaged. The repository provides an online demo link and screenshots, and the license is MIT.

How this score is calculated
Our heuristic uses license records (up to 30), a demo link (12), a preview (10), stars (15), recorded maintenance (15), description completeness (8), feature records (5) and classification data (5). It is not a code, security or performance test, or a Google score. A link does not establish tested functionality.

A demo link is listed. Check it with your own content and viewport sizes; its presence does not confirm that forms, authentication or payments work.
The catalog identifies Jekyll as the primary stack. Check the actual dependency manifest and lockfile for versions and hosting requirements. These notes use recorded metadata, not a code audit or a deployment test.

jekyll-webmaps-simple-theme. This project is intended to be a safe, welcoming space for collaboration, and contributors are expected to adhere to the [Contributor Covenant](http://contributor-covenant.org) code of conduct.
## Development
To set up your environment to develop this theme, run `bundle install`.
Your theme is setup just like a normal Jekyll site! To test your theme, run `bundle exec jekyll serve` and open your browser at `http://localhost:4000`. This starts a Jekyll server using your theme. Add pages, documents, data, etc. like normal to test your theme's contents. As you make modifications to your theme and to your content, your site will regenerate and you should see the changes in the browser after a refresh, just like normal.
When your theme is released, only the files in `_layouts`, `_includes`, `_sass` and `assets` tracked with Git will be bundled.
To add a custom directory to your theme-gem, please edit the regexp in `jekyll-webmaps-simple-theme.gemspec` accordingly.
## License
The theme is available as open source under the terms of the [MIT License](https://opensource.org/licenses/MIT).
