Template Details

Peomas is a blog theme based on Hexo; its README states it can be used for GitHub Pages personal blogs. The theme uses GitHub-style Markdown rendering and provides local search, tag and category support, responsive layout, an about page, and pagination.

Installation involves cloning the repository locally and setting theme to hexo-theme-peomas in the blog root _config.yml. The about, category, and tag pages must be created manually with hexo new page, and the layout in the corresponding Markdown file's front matter must be set to about, category, or tag.

Theme configuration is centralized in the theme's own _config.yml, where you can adjust the favicon, the logo mark on the left side of the navigation, the back-to-top button, the NProgress bar, the navigation menu, the home page's pinned posts and category tag display, the article table of contents based on Tocbot, and the about page's avatar, title, subtitle, and social icon links. The tag page is generated automatically by tagcloud, with configurable font size range and colors.

The theme is MIT-licensed, permitting free use, modification, commercial use, and distribution of the code, but third-party assets such as demo images, fonts, and icons must be checked against their respective licenses.

How this score is calculated

Our heuristic uses license records (up to 30), a demo link (12), a preview (10), stars (15), recorded maintenance (15), description completeness (8), feature records (5) and classification data (5). It is not a code, security or performance test, or a Google score. A link does not establish tested functionality.

A demo link is listed. Check it with your own content and viewport sizes; its presence does not confirm that forms, authentication or payments work.

The catalog identifies Hexo as the primary stack. Check the actual dependency manifest and lockfile for versions and hosting requirements. These notes use recorded metadata, not a code audit or a deployment test.
